Christmas is here
But it’s not about me
Nor ribbons and bows
Or lights on the trees
Christmas is here
But it’s not about you
Nor food and drink
Or the deeds that you do
But this Season brings
Us back to the hymn
Of the child that was born
In lil’ Bethlehem.
While family and friends
And things we count dear
Are often enjoyed
This time of the year
Let us never forget
The manger and Child
Who was born unto us
As all heaven smiled.
It’s all about Him
The manger the spot
In the story of God
As He entered our dot.
So let’s never forget
Our Savior’s own life
As He frees us from sin
And cancels all strife.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
May you and yours have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas.

Thank you for your reminder of just how wonderful this day is.
He came to this world so that all could be saved, from the tyrants of the East to the Home of the brave. “I love poems to me their rhyming is like tuning a musical instrument. Especially when harmony emerges.
